Athletics at LWA

Varsity sports

Our varsity teams are competitive, winning several league and state championships in recent years. LWA coaches are dedicated to their sports and the students they coach. The athletes have positive experiences, learning the values that extend beyond the playing field.

Intramural

The LWA school community encourages students to play sports in addition to their academic rigors. Following NYS guidelines, interscholastic sports begin in 7th grade.

LOWER SCHOOL PLAY CURRICULUM

Rather than detracting from academic learning, play supports the abilities that underlie learning and promotes school success. And it’s fun!

Racking up a 3.7 GPA, Aidan is an ESPN National Basketball Prospect, and recently committed to University of Louisville.
