LWA will be reopening with synchronous classrooms:
Students may learn in-school or at-home, and via real-time video be in the 'same classroom' learning the same material at the same time.

Oh, the places you're going!
Congratulations LWA

Remote Access Learning

With the Same Classmates

Lawrence Woodmere Academy has created an online remote learning platform that allows students to continue learning academically, while keeping the high standards of excellence for which our school is known. With our unique integrated virtual learning platform, we were able to switch from in-class  to at-home instruction instantly. Our students did not miss a SINGLE DAY of school in the transition!

Virtual Open House

School walkthroughs, meetings with Admissions staff, Admin staff, teachers, and even current students. Made ‘real’ through real-time streaming. Smart decisions are always informed. We’re here to help you make the right decision.

Virtual Admission Process

Families submit an application through the website. Admissions will then contact families to request digital transcripts and recommendations. We will also schedule a virtual interview.

Upper School Theater Club
Virtual Showcase

In October 2019, the Upper School Theatre Club began rehearsals for The Addams Family. Club members dedicated countless hours after school, on weekends, at night, and over holidays preparing to bring the LWA community a truly phenomenal show. Our rehearsals have continued remotely since March, and over spring break, we collaborated to create a video that captures just some of the talent and dedication of our remarkable cast and crew, as well as the fun we’ve been having since our journey began. Biggest of shout-outs to every single student involved in our production, with special thanks to Andrew Feldman for his awesome editing on this video! We are so incredibly proud of all of you!!!
