About LWA Summer Day

The LWA Summer Day program is in its thirty-second year of operation and is fully accredited by NYSAIS. Children in Nursery through Grade 10 are invited to be a part of our exciting summer adventures.

Our seven-acre campus includes heated swimming and diving pools (one exclusively for young children), tennis courts, and spacious athletic fields for soccer, baseball, football, beach volleyball, and a brand new GaGa court.

In addition to the outdoor fun, we also offer air-conditioned rooms for computers, dance, drama, arts and crafts, jewelry-making, string arts and wood shop. Our campers swim, dance, perform on stage, play tennis, explore technology, make new friends, and so much more. The LWA campus and facilities allow for an engaging program, rain or shine.

To further enhance its performing arts program,LWA is proud to have a piano instructor, Patricia Lee, on staff to provide piano instruction for children 6 years and older, if desired. Click here to read Patricia Lee's bio.

We are excited to announce our new program, The Academy at Summer Day. This is a unique summer program that offers hands on workshops in the morning and an outdoor summer experience in the afternoon which will include 1 swim period for children in grades 3 and up.  Workshops will be taught by Lawrence Woodmere Academy faculty members and/or teaching professionals in areas such as Mythology, Creative Writing, Robotics, Chemistry, Law, and Art Appreciation.

There is an atmosphere of trust and encouragement at LWA Summer Day, where every child enjoys happy, safe, and exciting summer days filled with memorable moments and friendships.
