Mary served as an educator with the New York City Department of Education for over 32 years before her retirement in September 2018. In her last position with the DOE, she served as the Community Superintendent for Community School District 27 in Queens from 2014-2018. Prior to this, she served as a Senior Achievement and Technology Integration Facilitator in Cluster 2 and Children's First Network 204 from 2010-2014. Ms. Barton was the principal of Public School 236, The Mill Basin School, from 1999-2010 as well as a middle school English Language Arts and Humanities teacher and Assistant Principal at I.S 240 and a principal at I.S. 278, all in Community School District 22 in Brooklyn. Ms. Barton holds New York State Certification for both school level administration and supervision as well as district level administration and supervision.

Lorin W. Clark serves as the Director of Safety and Security. He is a retired NYPD Police Lieutenant. During his 20 year tenure with the NYPD, he served in the Counter-Terrorism Division. Lorin also served as the Commander of the Community Outreach Unit, working closely with the NYC Public Schools. He is a former Police Academy and School Safety Academy Instructor.
