Creative self-expression and artistic endeavors are vital to each student's experience at Lawrence Woodmere Academy. Through a wide variety of media, students experience the arts as an integral part of the curriculum. When we teach the arts, we not only provide students with an opportunity to "make art" for themselves, but also create the potential for understanding at many levels, both cognitive and aesthetic. We enrich the entire school community with these efforts, since a school with a robust fine and performing arts program can provide concerts, theatrical productions, and exhibitions that will enhance the quality of school life for everyone.
