Upper School

The Lawrence Woodmere Academy Upper School, grades 9 through 12, provides students with intellectual challenges and limitless opportunities, while still offering guidance and support. Our curriculum prepares students for college-level learning as they undertake research, engage in mature discourse, and make informed decisions about advanced subject matter. Students reach their fullest academic potential through a rigorous course of study, honors classes, Advanced Placement classes, and independent studies. Our exceptional college guidance program provides students with the information and advice they need to make the best college choice for their personal and academic goals.

In addition to the excellent academic programs, we offer a variety of artistic and athletic opportunities to provide a complete and well-rounded education. Through the mentorship of our talented faculty, students have opportunities for further enrichment in programs such as science research, advanced drama, Lower School mentorship, Peer Leadership, and advanced computer language and technical support. A range of voluntary clubs and athletic teams contribute to a well-rounded high school experience.
