Tony Petitti, CBS Executive and Academy Alum, Gives Lawrence Woodmere Academy 2006 Commencement Address
Tony Petitti, Executive Vice President of CBS Sports, a three-time Emmy Award winner and a 1979 graduate of Woodmere Academy, delivered the commencement address at the graduation ceremonies for the Lawrence Woodmere Academy Class of 2006.
June 15, 2006 National Merit Scholarship to LWA's Caroline Boneparth
Caroline Boneparth, a soccer star at Lawrence Woodmere Academy as well as the school's 2006 valedictorian, was named a winner of one of 2,400 college- and university-sponsored National Merit Scholarships.

Science Research at LWA: It Really Gets Personal
Students at Lawrence Woodmere Academy are working on science research projects of their own choosing, and in most cases are investigating medical problems affecting their own families-even themselves.

Rebuilt Music Rooms Hit a High Note at LWA
A weeklong deluge last October left 5 inches of water in the vocal room, sent a torrent through a vestibule where instrumentalists practice, saturated carpets throughout the music suite, and soaked moldings and walls in the band room. But the music rooms, in the lower floor of Hessel Hall, the school auditorium, were not only repaired, they were nearly completely rebuilt.
